Clinical Supervision
Supporting the next generation of therapists is one of the most meaningful parts of my work. As a long-time member of the counseling community in Vermont, I offer clinical supervision for licensure to new therapists seeking growth, guidance, and confidence in their practice.
With over 20 years of experience in the field as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and mental health professional, I bring a broad perspective to supervision. My background includes crisis intervention, group facilitation, individual therapy, and family counseling for addiction—all of which shape the way I mentor and support new clinicians.
In supervision, we will focus on:
Ethics and professionalism: building a strong foundation for clinical judgment
Boundaries and self-care: learning how to serve clients without burning out
Modalities and techniques: including CRAFT, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, IFS, and the Gottman Method for couples counseling
Case consultation and reflection: applying theory to practice with real-world guidance
My approach to supervision is collaborative and supportive. Just as I believe clients are the experts in their own lives, supervisees are developing professionals with unique strengths and expertise. Supervision is a space to explore challenges, celebrate growth, and develop the skills necessary for ethical and practical practice.
